Bill Rierson from Sugar Check Charity visited today with Sarah Porter who is the Executive Director at Cook Community Clinic, formerly Lake Norman Community Health Clinic. Sarah was gracious with her time and toured us around the many renovations and additions happening at the clinic. The addition of on site dentistry and the attention to networking resources to help with nutrition guidance to name a few. Amazing work by the whole team that has been helping others for over 25 years. The above donation by Sugar Check Charity brings our total to about $6,000.00 since we started our partnership with Cook Community Clinic in helping others with their diabetes supplies. Sugar Check Charity has raised over $100,000.00 for free clinics in support of diabetes supplies since inception.
