Sugar Check Charity’s website acts as a hub for information. We like to have specific questions linked to other reliable websites like the CDC, ADA, and Diabetes Educator so people can get quick answers to their questions but also can look more in-depth into the question. We believe it is more effective and efficient for the patient to receive the main information from the clinic and any extra questions can be answered online. SCC mainly helps provide the needed diabetic supplies to the clinic and the free clinic distributes the information and supplies to the patients as needed.
Our mission is to help the diabetic community understand and monitor their diabetes by working with free clinics to help provide diabetic supplies for their patients that complete their education classes on diabetes maintenance.
Download free resources on a variety of diabetes management topics. From healthy eating, to insulin injection tips, to related issues with diabetes, you can find those in this area of the web site.

Thank you to the CDC, Diabetes Educator, and the ADA for information about diabetes.

The ADA states that about 15% of the total cost per year goes toward supplies, which means that average person with diabetes spends over $1440 a year on supplies (you can find that report here).
