Sugar Check Charity’s website acts as a hub for information. We like to have specific questions linked to other reliable websites like the CDC, ADA, and Diabetes Educator so people can get quick answers to their questions but also can look more in-depth into the question. We believe it is more effective and efficient for the patient to receive the main information from the clinic and any extra questions can be answered online. SCC mainly helps provide the needed diabetic supplies to the clinic and the free clinic distributes the information and supplies to the patients as needed.

If you’ve decided that you want to financially support a cause that’s close to your heart, rest assured, you will be supporting a nonprofit that will use your funds to make a lasting impact for the diabetic community. On average, according to the American Diabetes Association, the average person with diabetes spends about $9,601 per year on diabetes related supplies and issues/doctor visits. The ADA states that about 15% of the total cost per year goes toward supplies, which means that average person with diabetes spends over $1440 a year on supplies (you can find that report here). With your helps, we can make a major impact on thousands of peoples lives.
